When do I need to bleed my radiators?

Bleeding radiators removes excess air from them. This air will keep the radiators from heating up evenly. It’s a good idea to bleed your radiators in the autumn as you prepare to turn on the heating after the summer, and you should definitely do it if they start to make a noise when warming up or if they have cold spots.
